Elizabeth the Great!

Sometimes you just need the love and support of a good friend to keep your spirit soaring - this past week, my dear friend Elizabeth unknowingly did just that!  Elizabeth invited me up to her home to spend a couple of days with her beautiful loving family where my restoration began!   It included painting pottery, swimming at her country club, relaxing, feasting on lobster salad, decorating her daughter's bedroom and a late night Bond movie with her and her husband.  It is no surprise that there is so much love and excitement in their home - she is a great mother, wife, neighbor, friend and an awesome colleague - yes, she has a career too!  Although there are many things that I love about Elizabeth, one of those is her love for all things HGTV - particularly Candace Olson's Divine Design and Jamie Durie's Outdoor Room.  We both share a passion for decorating!  We watched this last aired episode of Jamie's French Garden design and both agreed - sheer brilliance!  Like a great friend, great design can also lift your spirits - hope that you too can appreciate both!
