The Glad Hatter!

All of my life I have loved hats.  In my twenties I remember a period where I would wear them to work and have them on during the work day - I of course worked in Fashion PR and all was acceptable:).  It was not because my hair was a mess underneath (although I've certainly had those days), but instead I believed then and still do that hats add intrigue to a woman's look.  Years ago when I was an assistant designer for a major accessories company, the owner gave me an opportunity to create a hat line for some of our custom clients.  It was a dream come true as I had just completed a hat course at Parsons by then renowned New York Hat designer Victoria DiNardo.  Let's face it, aside from protecting us from the sun, hats are mysterious and sexy and aren't we always curious about the woman who wears one?  These days my favorite Milliners are Albertus Swanepoel and Eugenia Kim.
