Montauk it is!

One of my guilty pleasures is curling up on my sofa with a stack of magazines and my favorite soft blankey that a good friend gave me and watch HGTV or the Food Network - Barefoot Contessa particularly!  I could easily do this on either of these lovely tufted sofa's - they are almost identical but, it's all in the details isn't it?  The top one is from Montauk Sofa's and sells for $6,500.00 and the other is at Restoration Hardware for a mere:) price ranging from $3,220.00 - $4,245.00 depending on your fabric choice.  I prefer the Montauk - love the brass beading!  Besides, I've enjoyed my most relaxing excursions in Montauk - such fond memories.  I remember spending a New Year's there and hanging out with all of the local fishermen and their wives - we played pool near a warm fireplace and laughed the night away.  Just think what the Barefoot Contessa, who lives in the neighboring town of East Hampton could do with the fish from their catch!   Now, the humble Montauk of yesterday has had a swanky revision - check out these hotels:  Distintive Ventures; Surf Lodge; Sole East; Montauk Yacht Club.  

  Perhaps Barefoot will invite me over for dinner since once again, 
it will be all about Montauk this summer!
